Killed by direct shooting by Islamic Republic agents. The suppressors first shot him in the leg with a war bullet, then killed him with a coup de grâce shot to the head. His mother, in response to agents' threats for forced confession and attributing the killing to 'foreign terrorists', explicitly called the Islamic Republic the killer of her son.
