43-year-old from Kashmar, resident of Mashhad, civil activist and protester with history of arrests and violent encounters. Previously arrested during 2009 protests and severely injured and tortured. Was present during Dey 1404 protests where a friend was killed near him, after which he went into hiding. Disappeared on 24 Esfand 1404 after leaving his home in Mashhad. Hours later, family was called to police station and shown image of his lifeless body. Sources describe this as a targeted and premeditated action, saying he was under pressure and surveillance beforehand. Buried on 26 Esfand 1404 in security atmosphere in his birthplace Kashmar.
