Shot directly by Karimian, former head of Sadeh Lenjan police station. Bullet hit under his armpit, entered his lung causing severe internal bleeding. He was unarmed at the time and had tried to prevent violence through dialogue, saying 'Come down, we have no business with you' to the police station chief. During the protests, he had been helping others and saving wounded protesters without protective equipment despite the danger of gunfire, successfully saving several lives from direct danger.
